Huh - Cold Weather - What?

Confusing title, maybe. How about it's just as confusing as our weather in good ol' Tennessee. What happened to the fall weather, highs in the low 70's, my favorite time of year. It lasted about 4 days and then bam up to the mid 80's. I know it's supposed to cool back down this weekend, but for how long? This is what bothers me about Tennessee weather, it will be so hot all summer and then maybe a week of fall weather total, and then freezing cold winter weather. We don't really get a fall or autumn anymore. Those poor people who are still making their way up to Gatlinburg to see the leaves change, well sorry people the are just staying green and then falling right off!! Ok, enough about that. So Thursdays are always good because my favorite show, The Office, comes on. It's so funny - no lie I have the first 3 seasons on my ipod. I think I'm borderline obsessive, well that was until Deena & Matt started watching it this summer. I think they have out done me. (Matt even ordered a business man trophy like the one on Michael's desk) Matt does not even have a desk! It is a show well worth watching, I love the little humor. Just a comment someone makes that you realize you heard later and laugh about it. Also, it's fun on Thursdays cause usually we have a house full of people watching it. Tonight will be great because at least when the tornado comes we can all die together. Just kidding, they said we would have bad weather but it's sunny outside right now. Well these are my super intense and very deep thoughts for the day. Have fun with them.

Another Day, another. . .

Well I am at work this morning and dead tired! I woke up at 1:30am and couldn't go back to sleep. Oh, well I'll get through it. So, God has been really working on me lately. I've been reading this book called The Art of Being and it has been awesome. I'm learning how to just be in the midst of everything that's going on. Since I left Threds I have been in constant search of what to do next, but God has really taught me to just have faith in Him and sometimes I need to just be. I not good at just being I've come to find out, I like to be crazy busy. I'm only working on Tuesdays and Thursdays right now and last week was the first week I was o.k. with this. I have time to actually work on things that I want to work on and I know that when it is time God will show me where to go from here. I think this was so difficult for me because the world may view this as lazy, in turn I have had a hard time not believing the same. I try so hard to block out the world's views and concentrate on God, but I am human and these things do sneak in. Anyway on some other notes I saw an awesome concert last week. It was TFK, Barlow Girl, and Toby Mac. Barlow Girl was amazing, the drummer plays so hard and sings alot, and the bass player also plays the keyboard and is the lead singer, and the guitar player is amazing as well. I was impressed, it is rare to find a girl band that can hold there own and play instruments extremely well and sing just as well. Also, this Saturday is Steph's baby shower, Denira and I are throwing, and I am excited!! It's weird she's like the first one of my close friends to have a baby and it's getting so close - it's like we're grown ups!
